In February 2025, they released the single He Said.. She Said… The poignant track explores the complexities of a troubled relationship, oozing with humour embodying the essence of English kitchen sink songwriting reminiscent of iconic bands like Squeeze, The Kinks, Blur, and The Beautiful South.

Featuring the remarkable talents of Robbie McIntosh, a former guitarist for The Pretenders and Paul McCartney, He Said.. She Said.. weaves a rich musical tapestry that combines heartfelt lyrics with a captivating melody. Jamie’s masterful bass line intertwines seamlessly with the emotive vocals of Julia Krzyzanowska, pianist and singer for The Cloud Factory. Together, they form a duet that resonates with anyone who has navigated the tumultuous waters of love but with tongue firmly in cheek.

The driving force behind the track is the solid drumming of Shaun Brown, whose rhythmic energy propels the song forward, capturing the urgency and emotional weight of its narrative. This collaboration results in a track that not only highlights the struggles of love but also celebrates the artistry of British songwriting.

He Said.. She Said.. is more than just a song; it is a slice of life that encapsulates the joys and heartbreaks of relationships. With relatable themes and an infectious sound, this single is poised to resonate with audiences, inviting them to reflect on their own experiences.

The single is part of the forthcoming album A Southern Way, recorded at Lodmoor Media and co-produced and engineered by Aaron Carter. The 10-track album also includes the previous single I Think You Oughta Know, released in September 2024, which addresses the cost of living crisis and the plight of the homeless, further showcasing Pinnow’s commitment to socially relevant themes.
