Chuck Hancock

Chuck Hancock was born and raised in Texas.

He is now the co-owner of a chain of convenient food stores in middle Georgia in the US. He spends his time with his wife on their farm, where he enjoys his horses and team roping with his sons.

But, away from the farm, Chuck is emerging as one of America’s most prominent artists in the worlds of Gospel, Inspirational, Christian, and now Country music.

In the early years of his career, Chuck performed all over Texas and the US Midwest, in nightclubs and honkytonks where he honed his trade as a singer and entertainer.

His love of Country Gospel music has guided him to write some of the strongest inspirational material for himself and other Gospel, Inspirational and Christian Artists.

He topped the Country Gospel Charts with “That’s Where I Was” and, since 2005, has received numerous awards from TIMA, ICGMA and a Special Recognition Award from the Governor of Tennessee.

Following this amazing success, Chuck is keen to bring his talents to his much-loved genre of country music.

Chuck describes his 2012 album “On A Personal Note” as a labour of love.

The album takes you back in time to the sounds of “true country music” with strong fiddle and steel guitar instrumentation. The album includes hurting ballads, Texas Swing and even a few more current tunes. Twelve of the fourteen songs were written by Chuck himself. The album’s first single “They Just Don’t Stay Little Long Enough” has proved a great success for Chuck. It was number one on the Inspirational Country Charts and led to Chuck being named Male Vocalist of the Year and Songwriter Of The Year at the Inspirational Country Music Awards (ICMA), held at Nashville’s Schermerhorn Syphony Centre in October 2012. Chuck performed his song live on the show.

Now, the celebration continues in Chuck Hancock’s life and music career, with the European release of his new single, “Can’t Make It Past Your Memory.” It is another super self-penned songs from his “On A Personal Note” album. Great performance, great production, and a super great song.

Chuck has taken the inspirational music world by storm. Now watch out for this talented artist to do the same to the country music arena.
