The Lost Notes are a folk/Americana roots band from Moseley, Birmingham. Formed in 2014 they have been taking the folk world by storm with their energetic and entertaining live shows. The band consists of:

* Oli Jobes, rooted in traditional folk
* Maxim Tomlinson, jazz conservatoire pedigree
* Steve Vantsis, 30 years touring and recording predominantly prog-rock
* Lucy Mills, sultry jazz and the band’s pictorial artist.
Throw them all together and you get The Lost Notes sound, with songs that remain steeped in the Americana, folk, country tradition but with a unique style and edge. Holding it all together is the core acoustic instrumentation and uplifting three part harmonies.
The Lost Notes are available as a full five-piece band or an acoustic three-part harmony trio.
They have recently straddled the divide, surprising Americana and Blues audiences, and all the genres in between, with their eclectic self-penned songs.
Their third album “Good Luck Shoes” was released in September 2024. The Lost Notes’ 3rd album “GOOD LUCK SHOES” features ten new songs spotlighting tales of the wary, the hopeful, the loved and the lovable; the wild and the lost, the unhinged and the crossed. The fixed up, the torn down, the hoe-downs and throw downs, topped by the musings of a deliriously optimistic psychopath with a death wish.
