The Passerines are a four-piece Warwickshire-based country/Americana band consisting of founding members, singer songwriter Becky Murphy on vocals and rhythm guitar, and Stuart Lord on drums and harmonies. The pair were later joined by Grahame Scott on bass and Si Crane on lead guitar and banjo.

The band’s debut album Pray For Me won acclaim from the BCMA, who awarded it “editor’s choice” upon its release, and now the band has already started work on follow-up releases.

The Passerines’ songwriting covers many different topics with songs about love, loss, luck and even the occasional murder. Their song Shot That F*cker Dead delights audiences at every gig they play and continues to be a firm fan favourite.
