In 2015, Donny released what’s been described as a history making recording. Many of Elvis Presley’s studio musicians accompany Donny on “The World Keeps Loving Elvis”. This one-of-a-kind recording saw more of Elvis’s original studio musicians than ever before back an artist – except for when they worked with Elvis of course.

A beautiful and melodious love song, the lyrics are ingeniously constructed around subtle references to 25 of Elvis’ songs. For the making of the video,Women’s Watches Donny was also given access to Elvis’ coat, his jewelry and one of his Cadillac cars.

In 2020, Donny released the Christmas song “Heartbreak Holiday”. In the song a mysterious figure, sounding much like a certain rock’n’roll and country star, returns to his sweet baby, only to find she has up and married some other guy.

In the video, look out for Donny’s buddies Ray Walker of The Jordanaires and the late great country and pop music star Billy Walker.

Donny Richmond is also now a full fledged movie star, known as “Uncle Donny”. His recent starring role in the movie, “Saving Faith” brought him a nomination for Best Lead Actor in a Feature Film from the U.S. based International Christian Film Festival.
