In 2025, Nathan Rivers released the single Christmas Through The Eyes of a Child.
Nathan said:
“Writing a Christmas single and getting it played on the radio was one of the top challenges I set myself on my bucket list so I thought I’d better get on with it. Writing a Christmas/country single has, for as long as I can remember been an ambition of mine and I shall measure my success by how often I get to hear it played on the radio.
“I have no interest in the number of streams the single gains – my goal is solely radio plays. I guess I’m just old school but I see these streaming platforms as leeches and vultures, preying on the ill informed.
“The track has already been selected for BBC Radio 2 for Christmas 2025 so I’m pretty stoked about that. This being my first venture into the Christmas/holiday genre, I was more than a little apprehensive about submitting directly to radio stations but the reactions I have received have been overwhelming and quite humbling, with most I have contacted adding it to their own playlists in the UK, US and around Europe. Of the 187 emails sent so far, 149 have added it to their Christmas rotation. Not too shabby for a debut single.
My new ambition is to be a one hit wonder and possibly have the track covered by a female vocalist.
