I’ve always had a great love of country music all my life – all the different styles and genres from the 1920’s recordings of Jimmie Rogers right up to the latest offerings from Florida Georgia Line and all that went between.
I have had the privilege of meeting and working with so many of the great stars with my country music road show at festivals and theatres and interviewing them for magazine article.
I have been involved in radio since the mid-seventies working for the IBA monitoring the performance of the fledgling commercial stations.
I have worked both in front of the mic and in many backroom roles from researching to production on both the BBC and commercial radio so I feel very much at home here at UKCountryRadio.com.
