Ashli is one half of Country Duo “Millwood”, a popular duo on the country circuit playing for listeners and dancers of all things country.
Loving all types of music, Ashli’s love of country music started when cast as Annie Oakley in a musical production at drama college, “Once a thigh slapper always a thigh slapper” lol. Although enjoying many of today’s new country music and artists, Ashli’s preference is the more classic, older type of country music, great artists including George Strait, Dolly Parton, Alan Jackson, John Prine and Patsy Cline.
Ashli has also developed an interest in the music from “Way Back West” and the 30’s -50’s era of country tunes. She includes a couple of these songs on each show to take us back to that bygone age of “campfire and tumbleweed”.
