RITA B teamed up with songwriter John Holt from North Wales and, in 2010, completed her first album of self-penned material called “”In My Own Wor(l)ds””. The album received great global reviews and continues to get airplay across the world. “”Got Caught When Your Guard Was Down””, from the album, won UKCountryRadio.com’s Listeners’ Club Award 2011.
“”Wasted Tears”” and “”Then Love Was Young””, also from Rita’s first album, received commendations and placements in global songwriting competition. Rita and John continue to collaborate and, in September 2011, Rita released her second album “”Country Music Running Through My Veins””, with some more great tracks from this songwriting duo.
