OneDay40 are a country/southern rock band from Glasgow, formed out of the remnants of club and festival stalwarts Evangeline.
The band’s name comes from the two eldest being 364 days apart in age, so, for one day only, they were both 40 years old at the same time.
They were early practitioners of original UK country music and their first album Unfinished Business, released in 2007, was named BCMA Album of the Year in 2008.
Despite being signed to a Nashville label and having the offer of a US tour, the band split up and only got back together in 2023.
This must be one of the longest gaps between first and second albums ever, nearly 20 years, and that second album Finished Business will be released digitally and on vinyl on 29th May 2026.
