Dionny Tabbarez, a native of the Dominican Republic and currently residing in New Jersey, US, started his involvement in music very early on: he was part of his local church choir as a child and throughout adolescence was involved in high school plays and the school choir.
Musical influences range from Elvis, Frank Sinatra, Jon Bon Jovi, Johnny Cash, Bruce Springsteen, Willie Nelson, George Strait, Garth Brooks, Kenny Chesney, Kenny Rogers, Charley Pride and many more.
While growing up, Donny’s mother always listened to country music. He would often translate the songs for her but, even if she didn’t understand the English language, her love for country music captivated him and he was also drawn in by the beautiful musical melodies and their strong lyrical themes.
