DEDE WEDEKIND is a singer/songwriter from Houston, Texas. Her music transcends many genres, including country, Americana, pop, folk, jazz standards, rock, blues, American roots, oldies, world music, neo classical and inspirational.

DeDe has been likened to artists including Adele, Carrie Underwood, Celine Dion, Taylor Swift, Karen Carpenter, Eva Cassidy, Colbie Caillat, Jewel, Idina Menzel, Shania Twain, Natalie Grant and Amy Grant.

She has collaborated with Grammy-winning and multi-platinum producers who have worked artists including Celine Dion, Pink, Jewel, N’Sync and Hillary Duff.

DeDe’s first album, “”Clear Skies Ahead”” was released in November 2011 and featured DeDe’s pop arrangements of 14 familiar jazz and Broadway standards. Grammy-nominee D.Koch produced DeDe’s second album of original songs, “”Love And Fairy Tales”” which was released in July 2013.

“”World Of Christmas”” was DeDe’s seasonal offering of 2013 with a great selection of original festive songs written by DeDe. The album was produced by Grammy-winning Jeff Bova who described the 10-song CD as “”an album that will not only touch your heart… but also your soul””.

The fourth album, “”Dream Of You””, was released in February 2016 and quickly led to a string of awards, being nominated for Album Of The Year at the 5th annual Indie Music Channel Awards in April 2016, where DeDe won Best New Female Artist Of The Year. The title track “”Dream Of You”” was named Bests Americana Song and DeDe also won Best Americana Artist and Recording 2016.
