Terry Dean

Terry Dean has been involved in music for over 60 years as a singer, songwriter, composer, musician, band leader, recording artist and radio presenter. 

Terry’s association with music began aged 16 as a singer and bass player with a skiffle band. He then joined a rock band on vocals, bass and guitar. He became a session guitarist and backing singer for a while, then went into country music with his first band Country Rain in 1967. 

 

 

Terry’s other bands include Haz Eliot with Feeling (Voted BCMA Most Promising Newcomer 1974 and Best British Country Band Wembley Festival of Country Music 1975),  Apache, Misty Dream Band, Country Shades and Imber-Dean. He was also a member of Frank Yonco’s Everglades and fronted Paddy O’Connor’s Lincoln County Boys & Nashville Katz for a while. 

Based in Lincolnshire, Terry no longer gigs or tours but is a founder member, along with Philip Birkitt and David Jacklin, of Alconbury Blue

Terry, along with a collective of other like minded singers and musicians, writes, composes and records original songs in various genres for the music media, publishers, recording artists and radio.
