Ruth Manning is a singer/songwriter from the Annapolis Valley in the Canadian province of Nova Scotia and she has been singing for her entire life. From the early 1990s to 2016, Ruth performed with many groups, including 18 years with the band Triple Time, a Maritime Tour with Ryan Cook and the Valley Singers in 2015, and many other performances all over the province. Her current band, Ruth Manning and the Prospectors was formed in 2016.
In 2020, Ruth released her latest album “Rewind”. It is a collection of heartfelt songs that Ruth has written and a few favourites from her band’s playlist.
The album is dedicated to bandmate Al Fitch who passed away in May 2020. He was due to play on the album but between illness and Covid shutdown he was unable to do so.
