PV TANNER was born in Horsham in Sussex shortly after the Second World War. He was brought up with a love for Country Music. Some of his greatest influences include Merle Haggard, Marty Robbins, Johnny (The Tall Texan) Walker and George Jones as well as all the great crooners.PV has become known as “”The Country Crooner”” by his fans.
For a number of years PV has shared his music with literally thousands of fans throughout the world. He has performed in many countries including Germany, Spain and its sovereign islands. He has performed regularly at the Son Matias Beach Hotel in Palma Nova Majorca & the famous Accupulco Club Bar & Lizard Bar in Playa De Las Americas. He has appeared in large venues such as Warners, Mill Rythe & Butlins.
In 2009, PV decided to record all his songs and thus set up his own recording company and label. he then released them via Amazon ,ITunes, CDBaby and several other digital distributors.
PV has been a Linedance Instructor for 20 Years, and in the past has been chairman of the BWDA2000 (British Western Dance Association). He haschoreographed dances to several songs and intends to arrange more dances to accompany his own songs as and when they are released.
In September 2011 PV released an album he always wanted to make, “”Country & Irish Favourites Vol 1″”. He followed it up with a second collection in June 2012.
After a short break, PV returned in 2015 with “”Moon River”” – another collection of classic songs, blending the easy listening and country genres. He is currently back in the recording studio, producing an album of original songs due for release later in 2015.
