Irish-born, Dorset-based, country music singer, songwriter and guitarist, Owen Moore has long been a very familiar face in country music venues around the south coast of England.
A well-travelled veteran of the country music scene, Owen has played regularly in bands, as well as being a seasoned solo performer.
His music is widely available on numerous internet websites and, over the years, Owen could often be seen and heard playing in the open air, in town centres and high streets around the south, as he has regularly been an inveterate busker and street performer too.
Over the past few years Owen has also developed into a writer of novel country music songs with interesting themes, intriguing words and catchy tunes. His original songs have featured on country music radio shows in the UK, Ireland, France, Germany, Scandinavia, Italy, Australia, New Zealand and in the US.
Owen has been bringing out albums at a rate of roughly one every year for the past 15 years or so. His latest collection of songs combines numerous traces of country music and folk music too, along with a little bit of straight-ahead pop and more than a few Irish influences as well.
His new album displays an entertaining mixture of Owen’s many musical influences and as ever, it is a truly self-produced project, as Owen has written all the songs, sung all the vocals, arranged the music and played the instruments, as well as designing the artwork and recording & producing the complete album.
