Gary Quinn

GARY QUINN has been described as having a modern country sound with echoes of the past.

Fresh from winning the awards for ‘UK Song of the Year’ and ‘Songwriter of the Year’ at the 2014 British Country Music Awards (BCMAwards) in London, Northern Irishman and Greater Manchester based Country Artist Gary Quinn is a name that is rapidly on the rise. Gary scooped the award for best UK song for the second year in a row for ‘The Power of Me and You’ from his crowd-funded debut album, with the tracks also strong enough for him to claim the songwriter’s prize ahead of some of the most hyped names on the UK country scene. National recognition for the album had already been received as ‘He Don’t Show Her Anymore’, was awarded ‘Song of the Year’ by the BCMAwards last year.

“”I had been waiting for Gary’s new album for some time, and it lived up to my expectation. Gary is just what the UK country music scene needs – someone who is passionate about modern country music, yet respectful of its traditions, and ensures his work is recorded to the highest production standards.”” Allan Watkiss – CMA International Broadcaster & Director of UKCountryRadio.com

This, coupled with recently performing alongside James House at a sold out Troubadour Cafe in London has helped propel his name in the UK and Ireland.
