Craig Lloyd is based in Country Victoria, Australia, but is originally from London.
Craig graduated in early 2020 from the Country Music Association of Australia’s Academy in the home of Australian Country Music (Tamworth).
The Academy has produced artists such as Travis Collins, The McClymonts, Lyn Bowtell and many more.
Now living in a rural part of Australia, his song ‘One Last Time’, reflects on the long period of drought that has had a devastating impact on many rural farmers.
The song is co-written with Lachlan Bryan (The Wildes), who is well known to UK audiences, and produced by Damian Cafarella who has produced many successful Australian and International artists.
This is the first song from an EP due to be released later in 2020.
Craig’s family are in Essex and, whilst the restrictions on travel remain, he is unable to see them in person.
Craig has many stories to tell through his music having worked in a number of emergency services including times as a Police Officer in London and is currently the CEO of a rural Council.
Craig cites his influences as people like Garth Brooks, Alan Jackson, Brad Paisley, Dustin Lynch and a broad range of other storytellers.
