Lee Ann Kelly is a singer-songwriter based in Norfolk UK. Her love of country music and singing began at a very early age and never left her. She enjoy all kinds of country music from artists from legends such as Patsy Cline up to modern greats such including Lainey Wilson.
Lee Ann began writings song around 2012 and completed a few co-writes around the same time. She released her first self-penned album From Me To You at the end of 2012.
Over the following 12 years, Lee Ann wrote more songs and hopes to complete her second self-penned album later in 2025.
Lee Ann said her songs come from “anywhere and everywhere, from life experiences, from a passing word, a shadow or a memory”.
“As long as you can feel it, you can write it,” she said.
Lee Ann loves performing live and getting to know her audiences.
In January 2025, Lee Ann released the single Willow Tree which is dedicated to her mum.
Lee Ann said: “I started writing this song way back in 2014 but it was never finished.
“In late 2024, my mum became ill and, while driving down to see her, some lyrics just popped into my head like they had been sent to me. I wrote them down on my phone and, within five minutes, I had a chorus from nowhere but nothing else.
“A few days passed but no more of the song came, just the chorus, and then I realised the verses had already been written in 2014.
I pulled out my old book and there they were. I now had verses, chorus and melody and finally finished song I had started in 2014.”
In May 2025, Lee Ann released the second single from her album.
Like I Do is all about two people coming together. You may be from different places and different lives but, if it’s meant to be, then it will happen no matter how different you are. Love is love. They drive you crazy but you wouldn’t be with out them. As the saying goes “You can’t live with them but you sure can’t live without them either.“
A line dance has been choreographed to accompany the song.
In August 2025, Lee Ann released the album Dream Chaser -a powerful and heartfelt journey through the highs and lows of life, love, and self-discovery.
