A native of Northumberland, Ian James Lightfoot has been surrounded by country music since a very early age. The likes of Johnny Cash, Ernest Tubb, Faron Young, Moe Bandy and Don Williams were rarely off the stereo, a six-string acoustic never far from reach.
With little to show for his years in education (bunking off, smoking, surfing, drinking), music showed the way, and does so to this very day; the inevitable broken hearts and promises endured along the way.
In no particular order at all, he loves Mullen pedal steels, dogs and horses, Jaxonbilt hats, Hovis digestives, Newcastle United FC and The Dukes of Hazzard.
