Saint Senara are award-winning singer-songwriter duo Andrew Bate & Chloe Gorman with music that spans dirty blues rock, sweeping Americana to delicate folk songs with dark twists. They have received widespread critical acclaim for their spellbinding lyrics, genre-defying sound and the ability to put on an impressive show with just two people, a guitar and a tambourine.
Saint Senara have been likened to When Rivers Meet, The Civil Wars, The White Stripes and Fleetwood Mac.
Notable achievements include:
– the title track from their self-produced debut Flowers On My Grave EP placing eighth in the Blues & Roots Radio International Song Contest in 2023
– being handpicked to open for Elles Bailey on the Cotswold leg of her 2023 tour
– winning the title of Gloucestershire’s Best Band of 2023
– receiving rave reviews for their singles & EP’s in Blues in Britain, MNPR Magazine, SLAP Mag, A&R Factory, Obscure Sound and more throughout 2024
– being featured in the High Hopes section of Blues in Britain’s January 2025 issue
– and their ‘Under My Skin EP’ being a finalist for EP of the Year in the Crags Radio Unsigned Music Awards.
Saint Senara are members of The Americana Music Association UK, the UK Country Music Association, BCMA and UK Blues Federation.

In May 2025, Saint Senara released the single Ophelia.
Recorded at White Noise Studios in Weston-super-Mare and produced by the wonderfully talented Lex Raymond, Ophelia features on Saint Senara’s forthcoming Dark Water EP along with critically acclaimed singles Lost Lisa Marie and There’s A Storm Coming.
Counterpart to their last single, where Lost Lisa Marie commands, Ophelia beckons. Haunting and poetic, the song lays lyrics and voices bare, rising to a climactic crescendo ‘she doesn’t think she’s crazy, she thinks it isn’t fair’.
