Dan Russell is an extremely talented singer songwriter and guitarist from Hassocks near Brighton in West Sussex. He began performing around 14 years old. By the time he turned 16 he had already completed 2 tours to Italy and Holland.
Dan turned professional in 2007, heading off to Join RJP Entertainment in Salou, Spain. After a couple of years working in hotels entertaining the crowds he became a fully fledged member of the production team in 2009.
Over the years he has won numerous awards including ‘Entertainer Of The Year’, ‘Act Of The Year’ (twice), ‘Show Of The Year’ (twice), the prestigious ‘Gold Cup’, been a multiple nominee of the South East Entertainment Awards, appeared at the Havering Tribute Festival and finally has seen an induction into the ‘Salou Hall Of Fame’ in 2017.
Dan also spent several years performing his own shows in Corfu, Greece as well as appearing as one half of the infamous boy band duo ‘Take Two’. His most notable performances here were with a live band featuring Ron Thal from Guns n Roses, and entertaining crowds of over 2000 people at the Corfu beer festival.
When based in the UK Dan has a full calendar of gigs as well as concentrating on his original music. He has released three studio albums. The latest, “The South Rising” was released in April 2022.
