Bee Ounsworth is a UK country singer-songwriter and the founder of Buckle n Boots, her country music project. Born on 1st January 1983, she is a mother of three and a teaching assistant in a specialist school in Surrey, balancing family life, a full-time career and her music.
Writing from real-life experience, Bee creates honest, relatable songs delivered with powerful vocals. While she considers herself a homebody who can find busy environments challenging, she feels most at home on stage — singing is her passion and her escape.
In May 2026, Bee released the single We’d Be Happy, Won’t We? The song highlights Bee’s honest songwriting and well-known, expressive vocals and was written with Tim Prottey-Jones, who also produced the track.
It follows Bee caught in the cycle of responsibilities — the endless to-do lists, growing bills, and the pressure to keep going—while quietly realising how much time she’s missing with her children. It’s a reflection on what success really means, and whether it’s worth it if it costs the moments you can never get back.
At its core, it’s about perspective, love, and trying to do better. Not being perfect—but choosing to show up, slow down, and hold on to what truly matters. She’s a mama.
Outside of music, Bee enjoys going to the gym, swimming, knitting and growing her own vegetables. She is also a radio presenter on Surrey-based Ridge Radio, hosting a weekly Tuesday show from 5–7pm.
