June Country is a Portuguese country artist building her musical journey from the ground up, with storytelling, roots and emotional honesty at the centre of everything she creates.
The project began before she had ever taken formal singing lessons or had any background in the music industry. Rather than waiting until everything was perfect, she chose to begin exactly where she was, with real stories, a love for country music and the determination to learn and grow along the way.
For June, music is not about perfection for its own sake. It is about making people feel something. Her approach is intentionally simple, personal and honest, allowing the story and emotion of each song to come first.
Her first original song, A KAZA, grew from the childhood home that shaped her and from a return to that home years after it had been sold. What began as a goodbye became the beginning of June Country as a real artistic identity.
Her music continues to be rooted in lived experiences, memories and the stories that make us who we are, with more original music currently on the way.
