Review: Towerfest - June 2015

Towerfest, which describes itself as "Yorkshire's Premier Open Air Country Music Festival", was held in the shadows of Drax Power Station near Selby in North Yorkshire between 19th and 21st June.

The festival began in the clubhouse on Friday night with performances from Brian Gibson and Blackstone River and plenty of line dancing....

Donna also performed with trio The Shotgun Annies, described as the UK's answer to The Pistol Annies. Here is fellow "Annie" Dee D.James....

It wasn't just cowboys at the festival

The entertainment continued into Sunday with a great lineup including Colt Murphy, Fools Gold, Ashton Lane, Australian Nicki Gillis, Knoxville Highway and Henry Smith And His Country Dreams.

Towerfest is now looking forward to its 10th anniversary festival in 2016.
