DANNY LEE is a former International Squash Player and Junior County Tennis Champion, but now he devotes much of his time to music. Danny has his own band which plays a unique mix of covers and original songs during each live show.
The band has played at the Edinburgh Festival every year since 2009. You can also see the "Danny Lee Band" at pubs, clubs, festivals and functions throughout the UK.
Danny's sensational second album "Fly Drive Dreams" was released towards the end of 2012. It features soothing melodies, thought-provoking lyrics and inspirational musicianship.
Musicians include one of the UK's top pedal steel players David Rothon, pianist Chris Jerome and guitarist Nicolas Meier.
Danny's first album Just Fly was recorded in Nashville and remixed in England. It features a mix of musical genres. The musicians featured on the album are some of Nashville's finest.
Arlo Guthrie's guitarist Bob Williams, Gail Davis and Trace Adkins' musical director Scott Neubert and Brooks and Dunn's keyboard player Dwian Rowe all feature, along with Andy Hull on drums and local legend Bobby King on bass.
The album includes "Running Down The Road" - a song about mid-life choices. The song was a top ten hit on the Our Stage Alternative Country and Americana Monthly Chart.
In 2014, Danny released his third album "At The Edge Of My Dreams"
